Serving northern Vermont Personal
Computer Users for over 10 years, we provide a forum for sharing Questions
& Answers, Hints & Tips, Show & Tell, Good & Bad experiences
and Focus on Current Topics of Interest.
Meetings are held Monthly on the 2nd Wednesday of
every month promptly at 7:00 P.M.
We meet at the
The O'Brien Civic Center, which is located at 113 Patchen Road, South Burlington. From I-89, take Exit 14E onto Williston Road. Proceed past Dorset Street for 0.4 mile. Make a LEFT onto Patchen Road. (A sign indicates Route 116 to the right, but DON'T go this way.) If you are coming from the East on Williston Road, go 0.9 mile past Kennedy Drive to Patchen Road and turn Right. Go past the lights at Patchen Road and White Street and continue another 675 feet. Looking to the left, you will see a Chinese Restaurant, a Hair Salon, and Playground and then a light gray house. The house is the O'Brien Civic Center, continue just past the house to the driveway and park in back.
Annual Membership of $20 includes monthly Newsletter.
The first half of each meeting usually has a monthly
topic. Click here to see recent topics.
The second half of the meeting is for those
interested in PC computers, whether
you're a "newbie" or an experienced user or guru, the Champlain Valley PC Users Group
has something for you. Each meeting has a free-form "discussion" session,
in which any crazy "why is my computer doing this" or "How can one do ________
on the computer" is tossed around. Tidbits of computer knowledge abound
along with many terrible jokes. Everyone usually learns something
at each meeting.
The Champlain Valley PC Users Group has set
up a TECH SUPPORT list of some of the members who have offered to help
fellow PC users with problems, either hardware or software related, via
this Web Site. We make no guarantees as to the resolution of these problems,
but there are many years of cumulative computer knowledge floating around
amongst the CVPCUG members. Responses are subject to members availability
and time.
